By creating an account or using Document Portfolio, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you use Document Portfolio on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.

Document Portfolio lets you:

• write and document case studies for design and product work;
• upload images, GIFs, videos and documents such as a résumé;
• organise projects, skills, experience and showcase items;
• choose a visual theme, some of which are paid;
• publish your portfolio and case studies at your own username address; and
• share the published link with anyone.

Features may be added, changed or removed as the product develops.

• Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password and sign-in access confidential; do not share your credentials.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• Tell us promptly at support.documentportfolio@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You must meet the minimum age stated in our Privacy Policy to hold an account.

You keep ownership of everything you upload or write. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload, store and publish it.

Do not upload content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, confidentiality, contractual or other rights. Where your work was done for a client or employer, it is your responsibility to obtain any permission required before publishing it — including for screenshots, unreleased work, internal metrics and NDA-restricted material.

To run the service you ask for, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce, back up, adapt for display purposes (for example resizing or re-encoding images) and deliver your content — publicly only where you have chosen to publish it. This licence exists solely to operate and support the service, ends when you delete the content or your account (subject to backups rotating out and any legal retention), and transfers no ownership of your content to us.

Drafts stay private. When you publish, your portfolio or case study becomes accessible to anyone with the link, may be shared by others, and may be discovered or indexed by search engines and link previews.

Unpublishing stops the page being served going forward, but we cannot remove copies or caches already held by third parties. Do not publish confidential or restricted information.

• Breaking applicable law or using the service for fraud or abuse
• Infringing intellectual property, privacy or confidentiality rights
• Uploading malware, malicious code or deliberately harmful files
• Attempting to access another user's account, private content or files
• Circumventing security, authorisation or publishing controls
• Probing, attacking, overloading or disrupting the service or its providers
• Abusing APIs or automated interfaces, or scraping the service in prohibited ways
• Impersonating another person, or misrepresenting whose work you are publishing
• Reselling or redistributing paid themes or platform code

If you believe content on Document Portfolio infringes your rights, email support.documentportfolio@gmail.com with:

• the URL of the content;
• a description of the work you say is infringed;
• your contact details;
• a statement that you hold the rights or are authorised to act; and
• a statement that the information in your notice is accurate.

We review reports and may remove or restrict access to the content. We may pass your notice to the user who published it, who may respond.

We do not review content before it is published. Where content breaches these Terms, is unlawful, creates a security risk, infringes third-party rights or is used to abuse the service, we may remove it, restrict access to it, unpublish it or disable the account involved. Where reasonable and lawful, we will tell you what happened and why.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from your profile page.

We may suspend, restrict or terminate an account where these Terms are materially breached, where there is unlawful activity or a security or legal risk, or where required by law. Except for serious or repeated breaches, or where the law prevents it, we will give you notice and a reasonable chance to fix the problem first.

After deletion or termination, your content is removed from the live service as described in the Privacy Policy. Export or back up anything you want to keep before you delete your account.

Some visual themes are free and some are paid. Paid themes are one-off purchases for your account — not a recurring subscription — and prices are shown in the app at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not receive or store your card or banking details.

A purchased theme is unlocked for your account once the payment is confirmed by the payment provider. Prices and the theme catalogue may change, and taxes may apply depending on your location.

The service depends on third parties for hosting and delivery, database and file storage, authentication (including optional Google sign-in), service email, web fonts and payment processing. Their availability and terms are outside our control, and an outage on their side may affect the service.

We aim to keep Document Portfolio available and working, but the service may be interrupted by maintenance, deployments, bugs, capacity limits or third-party outages. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability and we do not offer a service level guarantee unless agreed separately in writing.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure, or that it will produce any particular career or business outcome. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of your work.

We may add, change, or remove features, themes and limits as the product evolves. Where a change materially reduces functionality you rely on, we will try to give reasonable notice in the application.

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date above will change, and material updates will be announced in the application or by email. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
